• Crafted custom components based on the Astro design system built with React
• Conducted user research and testing with multiple clients dealing with varying workflows ranging from assembly line robots to NASA space missions
• Helped shape the behavior tree editor and related documentation based on extensive user testing and feedback
• Completely redesigned the navigation structure and layout of the MoveIt Pro software

August 2021 - July 2022

Cleerly

- Denver, CO

• Updated the existing design system to be more modern and responsive, also ensuring best practices were used in the creation of the new Figma components
• Conducted user research and testing with multiple doctors and clinics across the country to ensure the new design was intuitive and easy to use
• Designed all interactive prototypes for both the internal and external user interfaces
• Worked closely with the engineering team to ensure the designs were technically feasible and to help the developers understand the design decisions

CACI (formerly LGS Innovations)

- Denver, CO

• Promoted in October 2020 from Senior UX Designer T3 to Principal UX Designer T4 to work alongside one of the Senior Systems Engineers in managing a small team of developers on the BITS project
• Crafted the design system and helped maintain the front-end code for the Vue components
• Learned the basics of Vue and React to assist the developers in styling the new BITS components
• Conducted all research, user testing, and prototyping for the new BITS application suite
• Created dozens of interactive prototypes using Sketch, InVision, Sympli, Balsamiq and Adobe XD

September 2016 - September 2018

DaVita

- Denver, CO

• Converted in May 2018 from contract to full-time employee after leading the design of the Chairside application in the CWOW project
• One of two 'Conceptual Designers' focused on new ideas and design patterns for the CWOW application suite
• Focused on rapid wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing within the larger UX team using Sketch, Craft, Invision, LookBack & Sympli
• Assisted in defining both the low and high fidelity design systems for all future DaVita web and mobile applications
• Worked directly with Apple on multiple designs focused around the Human Interface Guidelines (HIG) and conducted user tests in several clinics around the country
• Received awards in 2016 and 2018 for innovation, dedication, and quick turnaround on crucial pieces within the CWOW project

• Promoted in May 2016 from UX Designer to Senior UX Designer due to my efforts across The Capital Deployment Pipeline (CDP) project
• Conducted multiple user tests across the globe during the Capital Deployment Pipeline (CDP) project focusing on users in America, Europe, Japan and China
• Worked hand-in-hand with the technical team and developers, both in-house and remotely, to make sure proper usability was enforced
• Learned Salesforce and the Lightning Design System, leveraging as much out-of-the-box functionality as possible to be merged with our design system to save the company money while still ensuring a proper user-centered design
• Wrote several white-papers and design documents detailing best practices for all future company applications based around research and best-practices

Oskar Blues Brewery

- Longmont, CO

• Maintained and updated the company website
• Assisted in the creation and enhanced user experience of the website overhaul in early 2014
• Responsible for all menu and event poster designs for five Oskar Blues locations
• Assisted with the designs of several cans including the CAN'D Aid can, which became the logo for the foundation that raised several hundreds of thousands of dollars for the 2013 Lyons, CO flood victims
