In my time I've worked in every area of design including research, prototyping, visual design, and development. My specialty is crafting custom design systems, consisting of reusable components that feel natural and intuitive to use. I also offer a one-stop-shop for designing and building custom websites and applications for hobbyists, smaller companies, and startups.

We worked together at PickNik for over 3 years. Despite the challenges that came from working at a robotics startup, Shawn always kept a positive attitude and a willingness to help make the design as easy to use as possible. We had a very limited budget and a very small team of front-end engineers, so we were all thankful that he was able to make our React components easy to transition to code through the design system he made in Figma.
Shawn and I worked together extensively at Prologis on a number of projects, and it was truly a pleasure working with him. Shawn graduated from the University of Colorado's Digital Design program a few years after me. I had the opportunity to hire him directly into Prologis after graduation to help us completely revamp the deal-tracking software. His attention to detail, efficiency, problem solving skills, and professionalism were all exceptional and given the opportunity I would definitely hire and/or work with him again.
I brought Shawn on directly as the first UX Designer at LGS Innovations (now CACI) to help us create some consistency across our software suite. He was a great fit for the team, both professionally and personally. His willingness to learn some of the code from the engineers was a huge help and he was able to create a completely new design system based around material design that we implemented into the entire BITS system.
